One of the biggest highlights of the trip was the exceptional hospitality delivered by both hotel teams. From seamless transfers and elegant welcome drinks to warm smiles and thoughtful touches throughout the stay, the focus on guest experience was evident from start to finish, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes guests feel at home.

We also loved the direct access to the sea offered at both properties. With waterfront locations and stunning views across the Aegean, guests can enjoy a calm and relaxing ambience right on the water’s edge, without the hassle of travelling to the beach.

Accommodation options are equally varied, from stylish rooms and suites to spacious two- and three-bedroom villas with private pools, ideal for both couples and families.Another standout moment was visiting the brand-new accommodation at adjoining sister property Elounda Bay Palace, where 15 contemporary new bungalows and villas have launched this season.

Dining was another memorable part of the experience, with excellent restaurant choices across both resorts. We particularly recommend Kafenion Taverna at Elounda Beach for authentic Greek and Cretan flavours, and Kohylia Japanese Restaurant at Grand Resort Lagonissi for beautifully presented cuisine paired with breathtaking sunset views.
